Lily, White Lake ON

I have been stalking the lily for a while now. Trying to get the stamens sharp, the colour vivid, the background blurred just so. Fighting light and wind and my own skill and patience, or lack thereof on a given day.

This is the latest in the ongoing game, played in my neighbourhood and wherever my travels take me.

Close-up of yellow lily.

  1. Jim Robertson says:

Very nice Isabel, looks like you achieved what you were after.

  2. Clarion Lily deserves a poem, Isabel. I find that part of my brain parched, which is a sure sign I need to dwell upon its splendour. Thank you for the call to contemplation.
