Pfluger Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge, Austin TX

Before I knew that I loved bridges, I took photos of them in various settings.

This one shows a supporting column for a pedestrian/bicycle bridge that seems more massive than necessary.

But in the interests of full disclosure, this photo isn’t primarily of the bridge, although that’s kinda cool, too. It’s really a shot of the four-colour/color graffiti at its base:

Homogenize milk, not Austin.

I love that independent spirit.
