Kicker Rock, Galapagos

Here I am, just past the winter solstice and just out of Yellowknife, with an enhanced appreciation of the role of light in my enjoyment of the day, my well-being, and my life.

Sunset photos risk being hackneyed, but I love this shot of Kicker Rock, a tiny upthrust of rock in the waters surrounding the Galapagos islands.

    Nice !

So beautiful I am almost tempted to board a ship to the Galapagos.

  3. I am listening to the masterful James Ehnes play Bach Sonatas for Violin. Bach must have foreseen your photo of this palatial rock for he is describing its splendor more eloquently than can I.
