Reflections, Gilbert AZ

If “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” as it says in Hebrews 11:1, then these photos are, at least, evidence of ducks passing.

And at the most, maybe they give us faith that there is beauty all around us, if only we look.

Marvellous, patterned images, Isabel. They are fun to watch as stand-alone art and would make excellent design elements if reproduced in various ways. You can title them “Absence of . . . birds, ducks, swans, etc.” Delightful with or without the feathered critters.

Laurna – Glad you liked them. At first I was frustrated that the ducks kept swimming back and forth, “ruining” the reflections – then I saw that they were lovely this way, too. Maybe lovelier.

Interesting coincidence, those reflections on water. This last week, I too was doing some “reflections on water” as poems — an occasional passion of mine. Yours share better than mine.

Jim T – We have sometimes written on similar topics, prompted (I suppose) by items in the news or on the calendar. This is a different kind of serendipity.
