This week’s movie uses PiP, the picture-in-picture effect, for my first time.
It’s another classic #naturevideo, this time meeting a #slasherflick, at least acoustically.
I saw these alligators in the wild (South Carolina) and in an alligator farm (Florida), where I was able to record them booming.
Those eyes feel like pure evil.

Jim – Well, they kinda do, don’t they? Our guide in South Carolina assured us that alligators have no interest in attacking adult humans, and this seemed to be so. As we walked along the dike, the younger ones splooshed into the water (to avoid us?) and the older ones just ignored us.

Barbara – Oh, yeah. And logic only takes me so far in pushing back on that feeling.
