Buoys, Apalachicola FL

After escaping with our lives from St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge last January, we pulled into Apalachicola for lunch: a place where “dining” and “seafood” are pretty much interchangeable headings, as seen on the Chamber of Commerce website.

Multicoloured, weathered buoys hung on an old fishing net.

Nice photo! Buoys are often colourful and fascinating in a characteristic but always individual shape.

Judith – I never know whether this sort of photo will “work” – nor what makes some of them work and others not so much. But I liked this one.
