In honour of St.Patrick’s Day, four signs with a bit of the green. Each speaks in its own way to being a come-from-away and to finding new experiences in new places.

Yesterday, my daughter and son-in-law and two grandkids went to the opening draw of the Women’s World Curling in North Bay. Saw lots of green attire there…plus, for libation, plenty of green beer.
Tom
Tom – Good for them. They’ve had a good turnout in North Bay and Canada’s team has started well.
Shoot! I plumb forgot one attendee. I was there too.
Tom
Tom – 🙂
In the days when Joan and I travelled to the Caribbean, we went to Grenada, where one of the restaurants advertised “Critter of the Day.” Apparently (second-hand, because we didn’t go there) the Critter is whatever the cook goes out into the bush and shoots that day. Might be possum, might be monkey, might be snake… That’s why we didn’t go there.

Jim – Yes, I’d be better hearing about such a place than eating at it.
