A few, anyhow.
Turns out the face is on the bottom.

2026 May 22: Here's the backyard this week:
- an iris up for what seems like just a few minutes (and technically in the front yard)
- the lilac making its own short showing
- the crabapple, also technically in the front yard
- the magnolia past its prime but still lovely
It obviously likes its bottom washed.

Um, unless I’m missing something, that’s not its bottom but its handle. That space under the smile like a panting tongue makes the “puppy” term especially apropos.
Laurna – Not missing anything: it is the handle. But I only see its underside when the pan is bottoms up.
